Lack of postings
Hi All-
Sorry for the lack of postings lately.
My grandfather passed away earlier this week, and my mom fell coming from the funeral home and broke her ankle in two places and is awaiting surgery on Monday.

Spin class is totally dependant on your teacher
I love my Monday spin teacher. He is super interesting - he actually doesn’t ride the bike. He stands in the front of class or walks through the rows of bikes telling us what to do. 4 mile run in the heat....
Today is like 80 degrees - WHICH IS AMAZING! I am so so so soooooooo happy! So we went to brunch with B’s family, then B and I decided to go on a run on the West Side Highway.

B's Birthday
Yesterday was B’s birthday. I decided to make it a progressive birthday this year. Progressive as in presents and fun all day long.

Thursday Paralysis
So I actually woke up right before my alarm this morning – I think I am so excited for B’s birthday tomorrow I couldn’t sleep. Or possibly it was that my lats were so sore every time I rolled up I woke up from the pain! Either way, I got to the gym a little early which was nice to have a few minutes before the torture began to foam roll the hammie.

Running
So…woke up and ran not only 5.36 miles - but MY FASTEST MILE EVER (according to Nike Plus anyway)! So super awesome!!!

Bootcamp
Yesterday’s bootcamp was crazy. MFT was in a mood, so every time someone did something to annoy him (such a whining, walking in class instead of running from station to station, drinking water when it was the wrong time, etc) he would make us do anywhere from 25-50 push-ups. Spinning Today
Continuing my Spring Cleaning of bad habits, my spin instructor today randomly noticed that apparently I have crap form.

Weekend in Review
This weekend actually felt long - and that never happens!
Friday - went to dinner with H and LAEL at DBGB. This was my 2nd time there, and it was great. It’s easy, laid back, but still fun. Although they did have ramps on the menu - so we had to get the flatbread to start.
It was awesome to sit there for three hours and catch up with two of my favorite ladies.

Last night
An older man sort of gestured to me while I was waking to the subway at 8:45ish. When I looked up at him he said
