I went to spin today as I missed yesterday’s class because I had to take Baby Shea to the vet (he is fine in case you are wondering).
The Tuesday spin class is always a different kind of hard - it’s always mega tension on the bike for like an hour. It’s tons of climbing with active recovery - but less sprints, jumps, and what not than Monday.
I was dragging today. I don’t know why - I ate a great breakfast (Greek yogurt ugh, with some cereal sprinkled in for crunch and a few walnuts), and a healthy dinner last night (brown rice, grilled chicken, and roasted broccoli and asparagus) so it doesn’t make sense. But I struggled for every minute of that class.
I eventually made it through, and I am glad I did. There is nothing that feels as good as knowing that you had a killer workout, and are done with it for the day.
