Friday - I started out with a personal training session for boxing Friday afternoon. Whenever I get into a new form of working out, I always try to take a lesson with an expert so I can get my form correct. It was awesome - I felt like I learned so much and corrected so many things that I was doing wrong - however I could barely move the rest of the weekend because I was so freaking sore!
Friday night - the boxing crew from the gym was getting together to celebrate a birthday so B and I stopped by for a few beers before heading to Sushi Samba to meet B’s sister and her husband and some friends for dinner. I am so so so sooooooooo over Sushi Samba. I am one of the only Californian’s that doesn’t like Sushi - but beyond that we went there like 6 months ago and had the worst waitress EVER - and of course she was our waitress again and was even worse than before. It’s way expensive and just average at best. I am over it!
Saturday - so awesome, our neighborhood had a dog party! The most fun ever! It was at the dog park, so we took Shea and got to meet a lot of new neighbors that were very friendly! Shea had a free pup-friendly bacon-peanutbutter ice cream, along with about 700 treats, so I think he had a great day. Then we brought Shea with us into the city, while we ran errands all day.

Saturday night - we went to Ward III for a drink, then to Il Gilio to celebrate B’s mom’s birthday.
Sunday - went to get the “best breakfast sandwich” in town at The Little Grocery then braved the heat and walked to Target (soooooo awesome to live near a Target!) then spent the rest of the day resting my sore muscles and counting the minutes until True Blood was on.
