Was late to boxing today - which is the worst. I was 10 minutes early last week so I took a train 5 minutes later - which in turn made me 5 minutes late. It doesn’t make sense but whatever. When you are late you have to stand in the corner by yourself and do bodybuilders - ugh. What a way to start a class.
It was pretty much the usual - although I had a harder time sparring than I usually do. I think I was trying to remember all the things I learned at my training last Friday, which actually slowed me down. I am sure once I get the form it will become second nature, but for right now I have to slow down to think - are my feet in the right place, the right distance apart? Are my hands blocking my chin? Is my tush out? Is my shoulders rounded in to protect my abs? And so on….
Hopefully on Thursday I will be more fluid. It’s Tuesday - keep working hard the beginning of the week!
