Once again exhausted this morning I didn’t want to drag myself to the gym - but since tonight we are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary, I figured I couldn’t go later, and I didn’t want to skip my workout.
I hadn’t done the stair treadmill thing (official name: treadclimber) in ages. Luckily my Guido Gym by my house has an entire row of these.

I climbed 134 floors, which is higher than the empire state building. What’s amazing is that I was literally dripping with sweat, but only burned about 350 calories. Even though I think I burn more running, it does feel good to change it up.
After this, I did 2 sets of walking lunges around the PT area of the gym back and forth counted as 1 set - and I was holding 10lb weights in each hand.
Next, since I am working on toning my upper back I did pull downs - first with the long bar @ 50lbs 3 sets of 10, then using the close together handles that is usually on the rowing machine another 3 sets of 10 @ 50lbs.
Pretty good anniversary workout - and good to keep strong mid week! Go get it!
