To answer your question: yes!!
About a year ago I was sitting in a meeting with the head of merchandising, head of design, and a handful of other people, and my boss was speaking, then pauses and totally interrupts himself (I was sitting to his right) and is like what happened to your hands?!
Everyone turns to look at my hands while my face turned as red as my knuckles.
So I said I went boxing.
With no further explanation than that.
No one said anything, but they all do look at my a little differently.
Which I think is kind of awesome.
