Last night for dinner I made a healthy grilled chicken with steamed veggies - with a smallish side of pasta. I rarely eat pasta, just because it has basically no nutritional value - however, I do love it.
So I woke up feeling sort of bloated and feeling heavy. I swear the older I get the more food matters, which is so annoying.
Anyway, I went to the gym to do some cardio and burn off those carbs.
A light easy (read: slow) 5 miles (5.17 actually) and now I feel back to my self, and feel much lighter.
I am not sure how much of it is mental - but it’s a great feeling to get a long distance run like that in before your day even begins!
