Friday - after being out every night this week, and waking up early every day I just wanted to stay home on Friday night. B went out, but I just laid on the couch and watched the DVR, and thoroughly enjoyed doing nothing. It was amazing.
Saturday - after a quick trip to the library, and cooking B a delicious breakfast, we headed to the gym to do legs. I want B’s fit hockey legs, but obviously much more girlie. Our workout consisted of this:
For our first day doing just legs in a long time we thought this was enough, so we went to do partner obliques after this where we did 30 sit ups tapping shoulders. Then I did the incline bench with a 12lb med ball 2 sets of 15 throwing it at B and having him throw it back to me as I went down.
Lastly I showed him this absolutely killer trick I learned at the gym Tuesday: lay perpendicular on a bench with just your shoulder blades resting on the bench. Get in a bridge position, and raise 1 leg off the ground. Do a dip, dipping your tush all the way to the ground, then back up to the bridge position. Feel every single part of your hamstring, tush and hips scream in protest. Try to do 10 on each leg.

After this we headed out to Long Island where we have been resting and hanging out until we drive back after the Jets game.
