I needed the extra sleep yesterday morning. I went to bed after midnight once again, so I decided that I would go to the gym at lunch. As I wasn’t really motivated to run, I thought I would check out the same bootcamp class I took last week. Not the best workout, but good enough.
However, it was changed up this week - and was SO MUCH BETTER!
After our usual warm up and work out - push ups, jumping jacks, body builders, bear crawl. lunges, so many effing lunges, squats, running, high knees, booty kicks, planks etc - the instructor set up stations.
I miss stations so much. I know that sounds crazy. But MFT’s classes were always stations, and they always force me to do stuff I normally wouldn’t do - and as he would say #getmoney or I would say work hard and drive for results. They were all for time so you keep going till the instructor says change. Here they were:
It was a great workout - not like as hard as MFT’s but the closest I have found since he ditched me left.
It was a great workout and I felt jazzed about it all day. Way to get over that mid-week slump! BOOM!
