NoSauce Book Review - A Wanted Man by Lee Childs #17 in the Jack Reacher Series
Once again Lee Child’s drags me into the life of Jack Reacher, where I am actually trumpeting for him to kill, well, everyone.
Jack Reacher - 6’5”, distinguished looking, in his 40s or 50s, strong, smart, fair, and a loner, is the same tough guy with his own agenda as he always is. However national security and patriotism always takes a front seat to his own plans. In this book that is still the case.
Dealing with terrorism, domestically, was interesting as it’s something I don’t think about too often. And hope I never have to. Especially in a rural area, not a main city like Los Angeles or New York. It’s scarier as it is so unexpected.
Jack Reacher as always was in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets tangled up with the bad guys as well as the FBI and the CIA. But then, they didn’t know who they were dealing with.
Not the best Reacher book - but a good read none-the-less.
3 out of 5 stars.
