New Yorkers - are you sitting down??
They are opening a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in mid to late August on 39th and Broadway!
I can’t get over this.
I might actually stop complaining about New York and how I want to move back to California once this happens since I will have all my dreams fulfilled!
For the record, I have been to The Bean (as I refer to it), in Delhi India, and Jakarta, Indonesia. BOTH times I flipped out to the employees of these places, that they had a Bean there, in like a totally foreign country, and not in New York. Both times the employees looked at me like I was a crazy American. Whatever, it is a West Coast chain!!
I can’t get over this. I might be the happiest I have ever been in New York right now, knowing that this is happening. My life just changed dramatically for the better.

And now my life is complete. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is officially open in New York!
Happiest girl EVER.
Dear Coffee Bean-
An open letter to express my love. Not a day goes by that I am not appreciative of you. You make me feel like a little piece of California is conveniently located within walking distance from my office.
Today I ventured out in the pouring rain to get a small piece of home after a particularly long meeting - and it felt good to see that my love is not unequivocally one sided - it’s reciprocated.
I will always love you.
Forever yours,
NoSauce
I had such an awesome weekend - it was packed full of fun things, and I got to spend every day with B, which doesn’t always happen, so that made it even more awesome!
Friday - I have list of thing I have to do while in New York. Some of them I have crossed off, some I haven’t yet but will eventually. One of them, being the Broadway lover that I am, is go to Ellen’s Stardust Diner - the diner in Time Square where all the waiters and waitresses are aspiring Broadway stars and sing on top of all the tables. Although the food was sort of terrible, which is saying a lot for a diner, the entertainment was well, entertaining and hilarious. It was fun and awesome, and I am glad I can check it off my list!

Saturday - Dog park and coffee at my favorite French Patisserie, then as I posted here, brunch with two Tumblr Friends gnomesweetgnome and yellowonedontstop. After brunch home to relax before going to dinner with B in Brooklyn a Char No 4. The food was surprisingly delicious and the service was great as well. After that, to my friend K’s 30th, and then back to the city for a few more cocktails before grabbing some Mexican food on a Taco Truck to finish off the Cinco de Mayo celebration.

Sunday - dragged my very hungover self up this morning to go see The Avengers in 3D early. Sooooo worth it and so awesome! B and I gave it 5 out of 5 stars! We loved it, and when you go see it make sure you stay all the way till the credits are completely over!

After that B and walked to brunch, then headed to Coffee Bean to try to continue to ease the pain from last night. Now home watching Rickie Fowler try to win the Wells Fargo Championship and relaxing. What an awesome weekend!
