Puppy Status: Shea is so excited it's finally warming up with Spring! He is so happy to get to the dog park as much as he can before it's 100 degrees in the summer!

Tuesday night I went with H and LAEL to Miss Lily’s in the village. Well it’s on Houston. So maybe it’s considered Soho? Anyway, I had never had Jamaican/Caribbean food before - and now I can’t stop thinking about it!
It’s very typical New York - next to the Miss Lily’s record shop where the DJ is live spinning and the music is pumping, super hard to get a reservation, also not to be confused with the Miss Lily’s bake shop which is around the corner from it. But it was sooooo worth all the hype!
We had a ton of apps, and then shared the Jerk Chicken. We had the coconut cake for dessert (and banana pudding) as TimeOut New York said the cake was one of the “100 must haves for 2011”
I will say I don’t love spicy food and I for sure don’t love coconut - but I truly LOVED everything we had there. One thing was more amazing than the next!
Go as soon as you can, and bring a big appetite!
