This weekend flew by! Most weekends I feel like I need one extra day, but on the rare occasions that I have it, I always want even one more. Its never enough!
Friday - I skipped yoga at work for a fun lunch date with B to Balthazar. The food was amazing, and we saw Terry Richardson sitting outside, with of course a huge camera. After this amazing late afternoon lunch and walking around Soho for a bit, I headed home as always since I had run practice Saturday morning, but B headed to our friend R’s birthday party, which he said was a blast! I was bummed to miss out!

Saturday - I RAN 10 MILES!!!!! My first time ever running double digits! We were running on Park Ave, as the streets are closed for Summer Streets. I can’t even explain what it felt like to run double digits. 10 miles is far! I never in a million years thought I could just wake up and run 10 miles. I was sooooo pumped about it all day! I am still pumped when I think about it! After run practice MK came over so we could work on the fundraiser that we are planning. Then after she left a long nap, and then getting ready for dinner for B’s parents 40th wedding anniversary. We started the night at Flute. Then headed over to Eleven Madison Park for one of the best dinners I have ever had. Eleven Madison Park is big time - one the city’s big dinner spots. Jackets required for the men, and the food is beyond amazing. On top of this, they are also super accommodating which is highly unusual for this fancy of a restaurant, which to me makes they even more amazing. We were at dinner for almost 3 hours. Such a fun night.

Sunday - B and I had a housewarming/birthday brunch for D&R and it was so fun to see everyone. Their apartment is super nice, and I am happy I got to say happy birthday in person since I missed the Friday and Saturday festivities from running! Then B and I came home, cleaned out the top of my closet and our little storage area behind the couch, and relaxed for the rest of the day in our clean apartment.
What a fun weekend!
Tonight yoga with the team at Pure Yoga - excited!
